I never officially quit, I just took extended leaves of absences =D Although I doubt I will get back into competitive play... I enjoy going to locals and playing (especially when I have credit left over from last year and can play for free).

Btw this format isn't over until September 1st...still got a month and a half to go man. Make the best of it.

GB's definitely are far from the best of the format as well - but I still enjoy them overall and I doubt I will give up on them again. I love the combined control and aggro style of play.

Your version seems more conventional than the ones I've been playing as of late. How do you like the Respites? I understand how they clear bad hands, but I'm still not a big fan. Today I tried a Trap heavy line-up that played Anti-Spell Fragrance... It did okay - most of the games were close and drawn out, but it was far from superb.

I notice you play TT but not Mirror Force? While TT is good, and sometimes MF is sub-par, the overall playability in this deck seems to lean towards the MF since it doesn't kill your own monsters. GB's need to keep field presence to survive.

Anyway, there's my rant haha respond when you get the chance.

Hahaha Man you should still play at Regionals etc. its all for fun unless you get top 8 (even then its still fun)

YES i love GB now again. i can't wait to see the outcome of the sept list.

Respite is a blessing and a curse. I always get it when victory looks bad but when i have them in the early to mid game they ROCK! I play my deck always trying for Herk. he stops so many decks. I play the deck WAY differently than i used too.

lol this is where im a bit of a "new player" I have no mirror force....lol. so TT is my only option. But i would play Waboku over Force anyway. You can chain it and its amazing for the GBs. I tested this build on Perfect Herald...it did amazingly if i got my set up before the other player. but as soon as they got the upperhand its....scoop-phase for me. HATE@Tetheus X Herald combo

Anyway, there's my rant haha respond when you get the chance.

The problem I have with regionals, is two-fold:

One, it costs $20. That's twenty bucks I don't have to spend.
Two, it eats the entire day. Locals are good because you only waste half a day - on a weekend, I can't afford to wake up early and play YGO all day.

I think I'm gonna try something different next locals I go to - something along the lines of backrow hate.

Oh, and do you still have a lot of cards? If you do, you should post a list - see if there's anything I could use (especially if you have extra!).
